Jon Langford & Skull Orchard “Old Devils” (Bloodshot 2010)

Odds N Ends

My vinyl copy of The Sadies Darker Circles turned up last week and has been getting plenty of spins since it’s arrival, at this point it’s leading the way in my best of year, the band have put out a video this week featuring the track Postcards. Credit My Aimz is True

The Jawhawks début album has been released for the first time on CD through Lost Highway, the press release has links to a couple of vintage performances including this one from 1985

Pitchfork interview with The Hold Steady

A track I’d not listened to in a while popped up on shuffle this week, couldn’t get the bass line out of my head for days.
