Kelly Hogan – I Like To Keep Myself In Pain

Kelly Hogan – Plant White Roses by antirecords

Kelly Hogan’s new album out on Anti Records the home of her long time cohort Neko Case is a real gem, the songs on the album were written for her by the late Vic Chesnutt, Jon Langford, The Handsome Family, Catherine Irwin, Robbie Fulks and Robyn Hitchcock amongst others, one of the highlights for me though is a Hogan original, a song written about her friend Neko Case called Golden.
