Sister Lost Soul really struck a chord with me and is one my favourite Escovedo tunes of all, along with Baby’s Got New plans from the album Thirteen, Died A Little Today from Boxing Mirror ,Five Hearts Breaking and Pyramid of Tears from his debut album Gravity released in ’92, Pyramid of Tears was covered by Lucinda Williams and appears on the tribute album released in 03 to raise funds for Escovedo’s treatment after a near fatal illness as a result of suffering from Hepatitis C, the album Por Vida also included contributions from Steve Earle, Sally Timms & John Langford and Son Volt. 30 Days Out had a recent exclusive interview with the man ,check it . . . → Read More: Alejandro Escovedo  |
