A new Mekons album to look forward to later this year , the band return with Ancient & Modern (their 26th record) on September 27th, slated for release on their own reformed Sin Record Label and there’s a promise of tour too.

Damaged Goods are reissuing a long out of print collaboration between Holly Golightly & Dan Melchior on vinyl (and CD) in August.

“Recorded in London and Californian in 1999 with long time friend Bruce Brand on percussion this album features 10 tracks, some of which you’ll know if you’ve seen Holly play in the last decade like ‘Directly From My Heart’ & ‘Further On Up The Road’ but here they’re given very warm re-workings”

More Golightly for Damaged Goods.

“Holly and Lawyer Dave are back with a limited edition live album, originally available on CD as a ‘tour only’ release until we persuaded them that it needed to be on vinyl too”
