Not done one of these for a while tending to push the odds n ends I stumble across weekdays over twitter here’s a few worth checking checking out or putting in your diary.
The Wrinkle Neck Mules have a new album due out Feb 21st, the bands fifth release is called Apprentice to Ghosts and will be released by Lower 40 Records, I’ll post some more info as soon as I get some, the Mules have a new website and a tune from the new album features in a US ad – only a snippet but sounding good.
Sharon Van Etten’s has announced her new album the release date for Tramp is February 7, another one to look forward to.
Lydia Loveless and Scott H. Biram have joined up for The Bad Machine Tour in the US and made a couple of mp3s available to enjoy.
A new Mekons album to look forward to later this year , the band return with Ancient & Modern (their 26th record) on September 27th, slated for release on their own reformed Sin Record Label and there’s a promise of tour too.
Damaged Goods are reissuing a long out of print collaboration between Holly Golightly & Dan Melchior on vinyl (and CD) in August.
