Having established a reputation for producing cerebral Americana with their previous album and EP offerings on this their third full length Frontier Ruckus stretch their legs and release a twenty track collection Eternity of Dimming through Loose in the UK and Quite Scientific Records in the US.
Double albums are somewhat of a rarity these days often the reserve of those in the twilight of their careers or reserved for Best Of’s and compilations, they are by no means easy projects to pull of successfully – in a world inhabited by music consumed with the instant gratification of a single download or a cherry picked selection of album highlights then the feat of creating an album that engages, enthrals and talks to the listener for ninety minutes is not to be under estimated, for existing admirers of Frontier Ruckus there will be a few surprises the band have successfully ‘pulled it of’ for those of you new to the band, have faith, delve in and absorb for there is much to admire and beguile on this album.
The band are touring in Europe in support of the release in March.
