Daisy McCrackin “God Willing”

I was introduced to Daisy McCrackin’s music through her debut EP Rodeo Ground released in 2009, the follow up is a nine track album entitled God Willing, a 35 minute collection of haunting indie-folk music.

An all original set of tracks from the LA. based singer-songwriter and actress that creeps up on you gently but persuasively with McCrackin’s sweet and yearning vocal to the fore it’s a fine collection of songs, as well as the EP and album McCrackin has released a soundtrack album for the short art film Til Death Do Us Part ,in which she also appeared.

Maxim Ludwig & The Santa Fe Seven

“None of them are from Santa Fe and there aren’t seven of them, which is why they’re called the Santa Fe Seven.” say frontman Maxim Luwig of his musically cohorts, sounds like my kind of band and indeed they are, playing the type of music that’s irresistible in an Old 97’s kind of way.

You can and should get you hands on the bands fine debut the self-titled album can be purchased CDBaby.
