Seems like an age ago when I put up a short piece on Haroula Rose’s début EP Someday mentioning talk of a full length release, well this it These Open Roads adorned by her angelic voice and melodic songwriting skills, it features a dozen tracks with contributions from a strong supporting cast including DBT’s John Neff on pedal steel and the vocal talents of Orenda Fink (Azure Ray).

The Wanted were incarnated seven years ago, their current line up, Sandy Bell, Richard Henderson, Dave Lang, Jeff Rogers and Natalie Rogers have being playing together for three years in and around Toronto, their style combines elements from the rich tapestry of “acoustic country roots” combining traditional instrumentation and three-part harmonies the end product is a pleasing collection of nine originals and five covers.
