Bandcamp is fast becoming the vehicle of choice for artists getting their music out into the wider world, with the ability to sample, download free tracks and link in more tangible product including CD’s, Vinyl and T-shirts the whole set up is for the music consumer a straight forward and easy way to get at the new music.
I was contacted earlier this year by a Toronto seven-piece band collective Entire Cities with a copy of their album I Hope You Never come Home which is a shape-shifting collection of indie roots numbers, ramshackle – in a good way and definitely worth your further investigation – listen to more tracks and buy at the bands Bandcamp page.
