Emma Hill has the kind of voice that can melt away a days stress as it washes through your consciousness, the 22 year old singer songwriter currently resident in Portland Oregon grew up in a small Alaskan village of Sleetmute and became a part of the growing Alaskan music scene plying her trade to the people of Anchorage, she started off singing with Blackbird Productions and in a folk duo called Pennies & Patches before moving south to Portland where her solo material has developed, Clumsy Seduction is her second release following 2007’s debut “Just Me”. Backed on the record and the road by Her Gentlemen Callers, Bryan Daste (Pedal Steel, Vocals), Andrew Nelson (Drums, vocals) and John Blunk (Bass).

There was a feature on NPR in September on the bands cross country tour taking advantage of a JetBlue Airways fixed price promotion to fly as many times with them as you wish for a month, read and listen here, they are currently working on a third release “Meet Me at the Moon due early 2011
